All Natural Beauty Products can be easily made at home. By learning how to make all natural beauty products of your own, you will be helping the environment, along with saving money. There are a number of all natural beauty recipes which can be prepared with just a few items you may already have in your kitchen. These all natural beauty recipes are easy to make and are also healthier than using commercial cosmetic products.
Most commercial cosmetic products on the market include some type of chemical or detergent. When this is washed off your skin or thrown in the trash, these chemicals and toxins can get into the water supply. Making your own natural beauty products out of common household items is a much greener solution.
Some common kitchen items that can be used to make natural beauty products are Epsom salt, bananas, honey, oatmeal, olive and vegetable oils, yogurt, mayonnaise. This is just a short list of household products that can be used for skin or hair care. There are quite a few other natural products that can do wonders for your appearance.
There are two common ingredients that you probably will not have on hand when you are learning how to make natural beauty products. These are beeswax and natural soap bars. Beeswax and other natural waxes can be found at health food stores, soap making shops, and some craft stores. For those allergic to bees, there are other vegetable- and flower-based waxes to choose from.
Olive oil is a very versatile home remedy that can be used for a number of natural beauty purposes. It will moisturize the dry skin of your elbows, cuticles, knees, and feet. Olive oil can be added to a warm bath for even more moisture and softness. For dry hair or scalp, simply massage the oil directly in with your hands.
You can even make your own natural exfoliating treatment from olive oil. Mix the oil with twice as much brown sugar to create a thick paste. Use this paste as a pre-shower skin treatment by rubbing gently into the skin. Rinse thoroughly in the shower to remove all paste and any dead skin cells.
If you have bananas on hand, you can also use those as a moisturizer for dry and cracked skin. Mash a ripe banana until it becomes a paste that is smooth enough to apply to your face or hands. Let the paste soak in for about ten minutes, then rinse off and pat dry. For added moisturizing, add in a teaspoon of olive oil before applying to dry, parched skin.
These are just a few of the all natural beauty products you can make at home without spending much money. Other great natural home remedies include facial cleansers, herbal bath soaks, skin butter, and natural body scrubs. Most of these recipes can be made with simple ingredients that you already have at home.

Well if you want to do something with your skin. I use Aveeno. It is the best lotion i have every used. But I am not sure if you would like it. This is just a thought. I had really really dry skin I tried that and it improved in one week!
Sephora has great products for men. Most of the stuff at Sephora is pretty pricey, but it is totally worth it. One of my guy friends gets his stuff from there.
Hey thanks for the vid! Never heard of Body Bakery before this. I always have an issue of finding products that are cruelty-free/vegan…and this looks great. Thanks!

Please do Not send anyone your personal information especially home address, last name, city/state or other personal info as no one really knows the other person's intentions regardless of whether it's legit or not.
If you are with an actual company, that would probably be easier to get volunteers so that people can know that the products are (relatively) safe to try. I wonder if monster.com advertises for volunteers of products. It sounds like market research but I don't know if people will actually try a 'strange' product from someone that they don't know.
(And just a word to the wise about Craigslist, there was a 'nanny' from minnesota that was answering a job ad from the list and ended up dead in her trunk with a 19 year old male in custody, so please be careful all around.)

its pronounced sesh veet, its french. Almost no one knows how to pronounce it in videos!
lets see.
on makeup- i don't usually spend too much on this. just like 6-10 dollars on things like blush, eyeshadow, foundation etc etc. i'll spend like 15-30 dollars on lip gloss though because i buy it from sephora or chanel.
skin cleansers- i'll usually spend about 10-20. i get the neutrogena acne stress relief or one from sephora.
lotions- i always get lotion from bath and body works. i love that store. so i spend about 7+ dollars on a bottle about…
nail polish- sometimes i go to a local drug store and buy one for like 1-5 dollars. like a cheapy polish. and if i really want a good color, i'll buy the chanel polishes for about 20 dollars.
i think i spend the most money on lip glosses. i would have to say it is my favorite item. but i also get stuff from benefit cosmetics. they have little kits that have a little of everything in it. like one kit is "big beautiful eyes" and another has eye shadows, lumination, and lip gloss. those are all about 30 dollars.
good question!

See http://www.organicconsumers.org
You see because the national organics program is regulated by the USDA and all beauty care products are regulated by the FDA there is no organic standard for beauty products as there is for food and fiber. This means anyone can put the word organic on any cosmetic or soap even though the ingredients will not have a single certified organic ingredient and there will be some dangerous things like parabens. I notice the Body Shop is very bad about this.
Go to the organic consumers website to learn more and how you can help to close this loophole and make organic cosmetics really organic
