You are going traveling. You have lots of expenses to cover. You need to pay for your air fare, your accommodation, your food, your travel while away, cultural experiences and the list goes on. You want to save money so you decide not to bother with travel insurance. You are going on the trip of a lifetime so nothing will go wrong. It’s an unnecessary expense so you don’t need it. Wrong. Very wrong. Traveling with out insurance can be the biggest mistake you make when organizing your trip and a very costly one.
What is travel insurance? Well there are two kinds of insurance to look at when traveling.
1. Travel insurance, (sometimes called trip insurance) which covers cancellations, delays, lost baggage and emergencies.
2. Travel medical insurance protects you against any medical expense while traveling.
Ideally, you need a combination of the two when traveling.
Imagine these scenarios:
You are in Darwin, Australia when a cyclone hits the area. The city is devastated by the cyclone and all services shut down. You have to be evacuated and sent home. Your travel insurance will cover you for this. You do have travel insurance don’t you?
Your luggage goes missing in India. You need to buy new clothes and fast. Can you afford it in your budget? Of course you can, you took out traveler’s insurance – didn’t you?
Or what if you go surfing in Hawaii and take a big wipeout? You are so severely injured you need surgery and major medical assistance, and then are airlifted home. But that’s okay – your travel medical insurance covers all that. You have got it, haven’t you?
Travel insurance is there to protect you in case bad things happen on your trip. It is a necessary expense. Overseas medical costs can be astronomical if you are not insured. And if you are injured in a developing country, medical attention may not be as good as at home. If you are insured you can get flown home and attended to at no cost.
Every year the government deals with thousands of cases of travelers being injured, falling ill or dying overseas. This is a distressing situation for all involved, but made even worse when the travelers are not insured, often leaving them with huge bills to pay. Hospitalization in other countries can cost over one thousand dollars a day. Medical evacuations can be in the hundreds of thousands of dollars and if you die in Europe, it can cost over ten thousand dollars to bring your body back home. If you do not have travel insurance you have to cover these costs yourself (or your family will have to find the money).
Travel insurance is a cost you need to budget for. If you don’t take it out, your medical expenses could cost a whole lot more. Insure yourself and travel safe.

really sunrise is more beautiful than
sunrest. Is just we don wake up so early
1:38 is my fav =P
ahahaha that was so messed up!
First, learn the difference between "weather" and "whether".
Re you question, there are two main categories of travel agencies (TA); first are OUTBOUND TAs. These agencies do travel OUT of the PHilippines. Second category are the INBOUND agencies or often called as Tour Operators. These agencies do tour handling for visitors COMING TO the Philippines. They cater to inbound Tourists or visitors TO the Philippines. THis is where we get most of our tourism revenues. Inbound tourism is the concern of the Department of Tourism..
Many TAs have inbound and Outbound departments, esp. the big ones. Per my own guess, the top 7 INBOUND TAs or Tour Operators are: Rajah, Blue Horizons, Baron Travel, Marsman, Annset Travel, Intas Travel and maybe Pan Pacific Travel (for the Chinese market).
You may ask DOT Accreditatoion Division for their other classification.
It depends on your criteria.
If it's raw popularity that you care about, then beach resorts like Cancun and Los Cabos will win hands down.
If it's in the significance of the destination, I'd say Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires, Iguacu, Macchu Pichu, Mexico City, etc.
Well I would say that 42 questions was certainly enough to earn you the TC in Travel Ireland. What you have failed to mention is that fact that you have a very high percentage of best answers as well. Well done to you for getting it, here is a star to go with it as well.

Reply to “magooisawsome”: It was a reply to someone…you tube changed some stuff in the past few weeks.
i think i love sunrise more though
1) Hanoi, the capital. This city is smaller than Ho Chi Minh City, but it is beautiful. There are many lakes around the city. You need to go to Hoan Kiem lake; that lake is right in the city and there's everything there. There's a shopping plaza, Pho 24 (a vietnamese noodle soup place), Intimex (grocery store), Ciao! (ice cream place), etc. Hanoi is described as European like, and I personally think it is unique because it wasn't influenced by the western too much. You have a choice of staying in nice 4 or 5 star hotels like Hotel Nikko or staying in a mini hotel for as less $15 a night. You will meet tons of tourists in Hanoi; they are all over the place… and most of them stay in the mini hotels.. they are backpacking through Vietnam. Food is a ton in this city. There is sooooo much to eat!! Beer is really common here as well as throughout Vietnam.. cheap beer can run from 2000 dong to 4000 dong (which is about 25 cent or so for a glass cup..)
2) Ho Chi Minh City: this city is much bigger than Hanoi. It is very fun over there, too. The night life can go past 12 AM. There are tons of shopping areas, food, etc. But, it is much more city like. Hanoi is a little cute city..
3) Ha Long: This is a place where you can see natural settings. It is breathtaking here; if you want to be at a peaceful and quiet area, this is the place for you. It is scenic and beautiful. If you like noise, tons of shopping, and people, then Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh is for you.
4) Da Nang: This place has been growing so much every year. This place has many beautiful beaches, and it is a tourist site..
5) Hoi An: This place is small, but it has beautiful beaches; it is growing into a tourist site.
Most people go to Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, or Ha Long…
you wil definitely have fun in vietnam- enjoy!
1. Berlin, Germany – Tons of history, some of it very recent and palpable, and some going back to medieval times. World class museums, great dining and shopping. You get to see the clash, and the joining of two cultures. I've been there. I think the best thing about it is the living history.
2. Rome, Italy. Between the Roman sites, some in fantastic repair, from the Catecombs to the Colliseum to the Pantheon, and the Vatican, and the contemporary italian culture, Rome is an incredible place to visit. Expensive though. I've been there. I think the best thing is walking through the city – the switch from ancient to modern that happens all the time. Gelato is a big deal, too.
3. France outside of Paris – from the Chateaux in the Loire valley, to the caves of Champagne, to Alsace, to Nice and Arles, to justly famous Provence, France is simply beautiful. And the combination of food and wine and a culture of relaxation is beyond unbelievable. Paris is great, but the rest of France is just gorgeous. Been there.
4. Krakow – there are lots of beautiful cities formerly behind the Iron Curtain to visit, and Prague is almost notably beautiful (I believe, I have not been there) but if you can only do one, I pick Krakow specifically because nearby is Auschwitz. This is an incredibly important part of European History that everyone should try to get to. Genocide seems to become more and more a reality in our world, and we can't stop it if we can't understand it. The Auschwitz camps (there are two) represent practically the archetype of Genocide.
5. Greece – where democracy started. I have not been there, but I want to, preferably from the water.
(in no particular order):
1) Vietnam- it is naturally beautiful and there is just tons to do: going to the beautiful beaches, siteseeing the tourist destinations, bargaining for shopping, shopping at plazas, drinking beer for cheap, cheap food, nice people, etc… very cheap there.. you can find food that is really expensive and food that is really cheap… for example, cheap pho is 15,000 dong which is less than $1. there is expensive pho (at PHO 24) that is 26,000 dong (which is $1.70 or so…)..
2) S. Korea- this place is really nice; it is very developed and business like but also there are tons of shopping and tourist sites. if you have time, you should go to jeju island.. there is beautiful scenery and tons of korean dramas are filmed there. A little expensive.. especially food.
3) Singapore- this place is super clean, but much to do. you can just go around the city and tons to do.
4) Japan- I have never been there, but is is like the New York City in Asia. So much to do. So many people. expensive here… i saw on the travel channel that a capsule hotel is $50… but it has so much to offer.
5) China- it is such a big country, but it is nice there.. i heard. I haven't been there.
you should try kodachrome and view the slides on a projector and be blow away by the cinematic quality of the images
Istanbul, Cappadocia, Ephesus, Gallipoli, Ankara, in that order of priority.
Try the hotel "Side Pension" in Istanbul. It's reasonably priced and close to the major sights.
Turkish food is not too unusual for someone used to many different types of food – it has many similarities to Greek and Middle Eastern food. In little neighborhood restaurants and bazaars, there are many different types of kebabs and honey-soaked pastries, and of course the candy Turkish Delight. "Turkish coffee" is very strong, but most Turks today prefer fruit-flavored teas. More expensive restaurants use a lot of lamb and fresh fish, and Turkish cuisine uses a lot of yogurt, nuts, and spices (but more for flavoring – it's never really that spicy).
although i would never be able to afford to go to these places…… i would like to visit…….Italy… the Caribbeans….Gemany…..China…. New Zealand
2.40 che guevera…LOL =)
Those list probably based on total points or nature, culture, otherwise, why Las Vegas and Orlando didn't in the top 10 list.
I visited them all, glad there are 2 cities around bay area in the list, http://www.bayareavisit.com/
Sedona is very beautiful too, but many people visited grand canyon and passed it.
