Best hotels in Bali for honeymooners which love beaches, watersport, relaxing and sightseeing?Hi all,
We are thinking to go to Bali on our short honeymoon this december. We both love crowds, party and gigs also fine dining.
Please advise us which hotels in Bali which has a beautifull beach to relax and do some watersports? We both also love travelling and sightseeing, heard that Bali is really beautifull with lovely people.
What else we could do in Bali other than those things above?

Aruba. It is constantly 85 degrees but not hot because of the constant breeze. It NEVER rains (a plus on a honeymoon) and it's out of the hurricane area so no worries of hurricanes striking during one of the most important times of your life.
It's very safe. I have vacationed solo there and would do so again. It was the best vacation with the beach, sand, constant great weather, friendly islanders and beautiful natural scenery.
If you're into it you can even rent a car or a jeep. If you get a jeep you can go to all the places like the caverns etc and renting a vehicle is cheaper in Aruba then in the USA!
I would recommend Phuket Thailand it is top service it is always great weather and the people there are the friendliest you will ever meet in the world. it has great beaches and lots of different things to see and do (such as elephant rides and para sailing) on top of all that your in a another county for such a good price.
It has the best shopping if you like fake stuff (handbags and t-shirts)
I have been there once before and would go back again in a heartbeat, my sister-in law went for honey moon and they had a ball on top of that the hotel made a really big effort to make there stay enjoyable (free wine flowers etc.)
just one thing in Asia don't pick a cheap hotel… always 4-5 stars nothing less when i went i stayed at the holiday inn and it was the best hotel i ever stayed at and i was across from the beach.
good luck picking a destination, i hope this has given you something to think about
Try Puta Cana, Dominic Republic.
Off season there, and not yet Hurricane Season, so price is low.
Beaches BEAUTIFUL, white sands, warm water.
Mainly Spanish, but most know English.
Heading there end on June.
Check out Apple Vacations, read reviews.
usually vacations in mexico around this time are really reasonable since it is hurricane season. going to italy or europe would be quite lovely but VERY VERY expensive. you would be looking at least six grand to go there.
try puerto vallarta mexico! here is a link to where we are having our honeymoon at this june. our room is the honeymoon suite with a wrap around balcony and private outdoor jacuzzi. it is adults only and all-inclusive. it will cost us only three grand for airfare and the resort.

since you didnt say which side of the US you are from that can make a difference also. if you live on the west coast try hawaii or even tahiti! on the east coast perhaps a cruise?
the tennesse idea your mom suggested sounds nice but i think would get boring afterawhile. have you looked into poconas though? that *might* be okay. we considered it for like 30 minutes and changed our mind. lol…
hahaha, i know!
hahahaha!!! ur comment made laugh my ass off!!
another crap dance…they just dont stop coming!!
Ireland. Ireland. Ireland.
Maybe Brittany in western france. good celtic country.
I was going to suggest Quebec City, but since your from Canada…
umm how come the girl in the purple or blue had no idea what she is doin?”???
The gals are all decked in colorful dresses
Several European locations are nice during that time. Prague, in the Czech republic is nice, The Greek isles are great – check out the Roccabella in Santorini – we spent our honeymoon there and it was fantastic.
I would like to go to the United Arab Emirates and visit the 7 star hotel that is on the water. I have to save up though, because it at least $2000 a night.
– the architecture in UAE is the best in the world.
They've got underwater offices and hotels.
The really tiny one in all the colors was really good.
freaking SHIT!!
I could have written that post myself. We've been going through the same dilemma. Neither of us wants a "traditional" big wedding. We've been deciding between getting married abroad just the two of us, having a wedding with immediate family and two friends each, or having a small wedding with about 30 guests.
We decided to ask our parents what they thought. If they desperately wanted to see our vows and commitment to each other, then we'd scratch the first idea and do one of the small wedding ideas.
Our parents were split on what they wanted, but since two of them really wanted to see us get married, we decided to have a very small wedding here. My bf's brother will never get married and I'm the only girl on both sides, so it's important to the parents.
But, we're doing it our way with a very small ceremony/reception (we've decided to invite a few extended family members on both sides) and then a better honeymoon. We feel like we don't have a lot of the stresses people have with large weddings so that's been a major plus. We've been able to afford a lot of things we couldn't have afforded with a large wedding as well.
Also, we've decided to have the wedding about 2 hours away from where we live. So we still feel like we're sort-of getting away for it, and don't have the pressures of having to host people at our homes, etc.
This might be a nice middle ground for you. That way your parents can see you get married (my dad *really* wanted to walk me down the aisle) but you can still keep it small and intimate, have a nice(r) honeymoon and then have a larger reception when you get back.
