Help answer the question about warm vacation destinations

Where is the warmest, cheapest vacation destination for December?
Of all of the warmest place in December and of all of the cheap vacation places in the world, which place as closely as possible meets these two criteria? I am looking for a nice, calm, cheap place to fly to and get away from the world for a week. I just want to sit by a beach and read books without worrying about my cellphone going off or someone paging me to come into work.
I am going to go away on vacation after finals for a week. This semester has been hectic as hell.
