new zealand is a special place, i really want to travel there again
the only place ive been thats better than the brochure, luckily for me my late father was born there, hence im gona see out my days in the bay of plenty, thanks for the opportunity dad
NO most wineries require a University degree in Oenology or a related discipline (Food Science, Sciences).
as for tourism , 2 year program will suffice.
Just Register The Firm/ Company and Start the Business,
After One Year Of Business you r eligible to apply for IATA
By which u can issue tickets at your own.
Then you can apply for the various bodies like TAAI, TAFI, Indian Railways Etc
But IATA Is Must, You need Bank Guarantee and Min Two Certified Training Holder from Airlines or IATA
I`ve been to most of the places. It`the most beautiful country I`ve ever been to
Well that covers a big area doesn't it? I know that there are Travel agents and travel writers, a Travel Councilor and a bunch of others but for the pay that depends on your experience and where you live.
With your A Levels, you should look for a more rigourous course than travel and tourism.
stunning pictures.
really nice ^_^!
Yeah there is a difference
Hospitality isn't so much traveling at all really but
>preparing food and drinks for customers
>working as part of a team
>using customer service and communication skills
>working in a busy, high-pressure environment
>managing a business, including staff management
>part-time, casual or seasonal work.
Careers like working in bar, food and beverage, restruant, caterer, waiter, fast food, working in or owning a hotel, cook and working in the kitchen.
Tourism
People who work in tourism can do a variety of jobs including:
>active outdoor work such as teaching people snowsports
>guiding roles
>transporting people and telling them about tourist attractions
>helping people plan and book travel and activities.
Travel and tourism is careers like working at a airport, check in agent, pilot, flight attendant, travel and infomation consultant, travel agent, tour guide, outdoor recreation guide/instructor.
If you took a course in Travel and Tourism you'd learn about the travel and tourism industry, customer service in the industry, the legal part of it, process of air travel, transport, geography, foriegn exchnage, reservations, etc etc. In a Hospitality course you'd be learning custermer service, culinary arts and cookery, food and beverage, hspitality law, front office, management and accounting. etc…
Your situation is perfect and comparable to mine when I joined this service and became an agent 5 years ago.Go to http://www.IDL-Travel.com follow the links and you'll get training,ID card, discounts on travel, hotels, car rentals etc. This month,6 days left, they will even give you a free trip !!
Things like tourism management and marketing. Such as different steps in a tourism cycle, how a destination grows from exploratory to mass tourism. It will go into the reasons of why people travel and how different organizations target these people to get them to travel to their destination.
They also teach you about different tourism channels, such as Convention and Visitor's Bureaus, Chamber of Commerces, destination management companies and their contributions to the tourism industry.
You might also learn about the meeting planning and convention sector of tourism, sustainable tourism, itinerary planning, etc.
You may or may not go over geography, depending on how heavy your course is on travel and culture. It might also cover hotel, air, cruise travel depending on which way the course goes.
I took travel and tourism for my hospitality degree. It's not just travel agent, since those have sort of gone by the wayside with places like hotwire.com. You could be a concierge at a fancy hotel. You could work for a limousine company in tourist areas. You could even work with the city on tourism development to bring more tax money in. Take a lot of economics to go with it. Once you get a city job you're set for life.
Better you choose Switzerland or Cyprus. They are both among best Tourims based nations, and provide good and reputed degree on your deserved courses.
