Help answer the question about exercise routine
What is the best exercise routine that works out the entire body?I'm doing research on the perfect exercise routine for a project in my health class. It should be one that works out the entire body, but I'd like some thoughts from other people on that. Remember: each location allows different exercises. If you can come up with something based on this, it will help a lot.

First go for brisk walks. They are great for burning fats and trimming lower body fats.
Next, eat healthily with lots of veggies, lean meat and complex carbs . They will increase your metabolism rate and burn more fats.
I am on low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein and a hour brisk walk 5 times a week, and I have lost 31lbs and gain better health. I am now maintaining my 108lbs for more than a year.
Details such as meals, recipes, walking as an exercise and to shape the body etc etc, are in my blog

If you read Seventeen Magazine like almost every teen girl. They have exercises in the health section that are safe for teens. For being thirteen, just do basic exercises every night for 30-40 minutes. When I was thirteen and looking to lose weight. I did things like crunches, sit ups, push-ups, windmills, running in place, jump roping and leg lifts. It doesn't seem like much but just doing that for 30 minutes every night helped me lose weight at that age. I just tried to increase it every other night to push myself. I did about 20 or more of everything. 5 minutes running in place and 5 minutes jump roping at a high speed.
the first practice looks stupid and dosen’t work i think
anything that comes to your head and is challenging
just do it
GOOD LUCK!!!!
yeah running &eating healthy
Hey =]
There are a lot of different exercise routines out there you can try. Here is mine:
Mon: cardio – depending on your level of fitness, you could walk, power walk, jog or even run for 30 min. try different combinations, eg. walk 3 min then jog 2 min and repeat 6 times. it's more fun that way. you can also swim laps or go on an exercising bike if you want. skipping is a really good exercise although it's really hard keeping up half an hour of that!
Tue: toning – this also varies a lot, for starters, try this: 10 – 20 sit ups, 10 half push ups, 10X2 lunges, 10X2 squats, 10 arm curls using a 5 pound weight (one in each hand), 10 over head presses
Wed: flexibility and stretching – even if you just want to tone your body this is actually very important and something that a lot of people don't do as much, you can buy a CD or watch clips on youtube, there are a lot of small routines that you can combine to make up your routine
Thurs: cardio again
Fri: toning again
Sat: flexibility
Sun: rest
It is really important that you rest for at least one day a week. Oh and make sure you spend at least 5 min warming up and cooling down!
I also came across this routine on Y!A, it isn't mine but I think it is a good one and might suit you:

And joining sports groups/dance is a good way to tone muscles too. This website is really good:

You two have beautiful bodies, and the video is very helpful. :]
cardio and a good diet is the best way to go,
i do 25mins of biking, 15mins of running, 30mins of w.e (pushups, situps, crunches, etc)
along with a healthy diet i feel strong, healthy and im in shape :3
try it out
That girl is fine!!
MY FRIEND "DREAMER" (ON YAHOO) GAVE ME THIS WORKOUT AND IT WORKS LIKE MAGIC:
I would try this workout. At the same time you will be gaining muscle and burning fat. So its awesome.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED: Two 5 pounds weights.
* means one 5 pound weight in each hand.
If you don't have two 5 pound weights try using water bottles full of water.
Workout:
Stretch
*20 Bench Press x3
20 squats x3
*20 side arm lifts x3
20 crunches x3
20 push-ups x3
*20 lunges x3
20 leg lifts x3
Walk for 30 mins
Stretch
Stretching before your workout helps you not to pull a muscule during your workout.
Stretching after your workout helps you not be AS sore afterward.
I try to do this everyday, but I'm sure you would get results doing this only 2-4 days a week. I recomend everyday.
Eat 1500 calories a day and drink 8 glasses of water daily.
You will lose weight and tone up!
I've lost 6 pounds and I've only been doing it for a week!
You can do it! i know you can!
You will be sore. and it will hurt but you can do it.
Don't be scared to add more excercises of more reps.
Hope this works for you!
For running- start slow. If you don't run at all now, start off my walking a mile. Then, when you're ready, walk for 5 minutes then jog for 5 minutes and keep alternating. Then jog for 8 minutes and walk for 4. Slowly increase the amount of time you jog until you're jogging a full mile or two. Then you can work on your speed. This is much better for you than wearing yourself out running full speed right away.
As for a flatter stomach, you can do crunches until you're blue in the face, but they won't do much for you. Pull ups are good. Go to your local gym and use weight machines that target your abs. Extra weight will help build muscle. Good luck and most importantly, stick to it!
