Tenerife is a Spanish island located on the Atlantic side of Spain, and is the largest of island in the Canary Island chain. Tourism is the number one industry and millions visit Tenerife each year. It is a favorite with Europeans with the UK and Germany leading the pack, and Switzerland, Austria, France, Italy, and all of Scandinavia following.<br />
Tenerife is known for its fantastic beaches; the following are the 10 best beaches in Tenerife.
Torviscas and Fañabé
These two beaches actually join together to become one. They are connected by a long promenade that runs along a beautiful azure beach. Located along the coast of Costa Adeje these two beaches have relatively calm waters and are great for families on vacation.
El Bullullo (La Orotava)
This is a clean, very nice man-made beach that is located east of Puerto de la Cruz. There is a nice place to get drinks here and the waves are great.
Playa San Marcos
This beach is located west of Puerto de la Cruz and is a small fishing village. This is a black sand beach that is usually peaceful without many people during the weekdays. Weekends tend to be a little crowded. Apartment and Condo rentals are available and there is a full compliment of tourist services.
Playa Del Roque (Taganana)
This is a dark sand beach with beautiful clear waters and is a favorite of sun worshipers, surfers, and photographers.
Playa del Médano
This is perhaps the longest, natural sandy beach in Tenerife. There are many good fish restaurants here because this used to be a fishing village. The windsurfing here is great and the waters are usually fairly calm making this a great spot for families with young children.
Las Galletas
This is a charming fishing town that has quaint little inlets that have beaches very kind to beginning surfers. Having been a favorite of Jacques Cousteau and his son for diving, Las Galletas offers a wonderful opportunity to do scuba diving.
Torviscas
This is a golden sand artificial beach located on the Adeje Coast. This beach is a favorite and has many tourist activities and services available. A great beach for a vacation, Torviscas has a great nightlife.
Los Cristianos
This is a popular beach located near the southern airport on Tenerife. There is easy access to the nearby AquaPark Octopus and Tenerife Zoo for the kiddies. Offered for the whole family there are fishing excursions, glass bottom boats, and many eateries and pubs. There is also a great nightlife here. A popular choice for Tenerife holidays.
Los Gigantes
Located in west Tenerife, this is a good beach for sunbathing. There is the small town of Cueva del Polva nearby and also nearby are the imposing and famous Los Gigantes cliffs. This is a Blue Flag beach, which meets the highest quality standards in the European/World travel industry.
Las Gaviotas Beach
This last beach in the Top Ten Beaches of Tenerife is not necessarily a family beach. This beach is a nude beach with a section that is also frequented by gay tourists.

Airlie Beach, gateway to the Whitsunday islands has a reputation for being a great place to party, in between sailing trips to the islands. Another must stop location on the backpacker migration up north. In Airlie I decided that given it is such a big location for back packers, instead of interviewing an Aussie local, I would interview a back packer working at Airlie. A young Irish Lass, Jenni Higgins, working at the local Irish Pub.

Yes, she is. South Beach Miami, the section of Miami Beach from about 17th Street down to 1st Street/Government Cut, is the only public beach in the U.S. (i.e. NOT a designated nude beach) where women are permitted to sunbathe topless. You’ll see topless women sunning/walking/swimming all along this stretch of beach. Most women go topless either near the Delano & South Seas Hotels (17th Street) or near the gay section (5th-10th Streets).

Try any of the beaches between LA and San Diego in California. There are a lot of them and you can just pick a beach and see if you like it. The weather in southern California at this time of year is almost always great! No worry about major hurricanes etc. It is where I would pick if I had to go. You can also find a larger hotel that is located on the beach where they will serve drinks poolside or for you to carry down to the ocean's beach!
good video!
Think fortlaudrdal is the nearest. (According to my knowledge). its better to check from a airport service or some international map in the net.as if there were any mistake, you will be in no way…..
The Dabolim Airport in Goa is within 5 to 10 miles (3 to 6 kilometers) of the coastline. Information about public beaches is difficult to locate, but the National Highway 17 runs along the west coast from Goa to Mumbai (Bombay). General transportation information to and from the Dabolim Airport is provided at the link below.
0:35, is that girl topless?
pretty informative vid
I'm not sure a group of 18/19 year old guys want to go to NYC for the theater and Shakespeare…
Head down to Myrtle Beach or Fort Lauderdale. If you want to check out the west coast, go to San Diego. Plenty of nightlife in all of those cities, and more to do than just hang out at the beach.
I avoid beaches with my kids but I can help with the flights. I'm an ex-F/A and I fly with my three between Europe and California about every six months, plus shorter trips in between.
For such short flights, it wont be a problem with the ears. Just visit the ped before leaving to be sure he doesn't have an ear infection and otherwise, hís ears should be fine. It's a myth that they have to drink or suck on take-off and landing. Ear problems are highly overrated.
He'll be safer and everyone will be more comfortable if you can bring your carseat and see if you can use it on board in an empty seat. Wont you need it at your destination anyway? (Never risk car company seats, they can be expired, nasty, the wrong size, etc.). Double check that your carseat is FAA certified. Most are in the U.S.
On check in, ask how full the flight is and ask if you can be seated with an empty place besides you.
I go into way more detail in an article I wrote and placed on a blog for all parents to see. It's totally non-commercial and written to help out other parents (and my ex-coworkers, if parents have fewer concerns!)

Have a good trip and be careful with your little guy and that hot Florida sun!
Baseball plays "games," not matches.
You want to be there at least a half hour before game time.
Give yourself an hour from SoBe, especially if it's a weekday, it will be rush hour. If you get there early, no problem; you can watch practice & there's other stuff to see & do.
It will be better to simply go directly there from whatever part of the Everglades you are at. You can take the Expressway or Turnpike & it will take a little longer than the trip from SoBe. There is no reason to make the long traffic jammed trip back to the the Beach & then back to Miami.
crazy…i go to south beach every year, and that resembles nothing from my excursions
July and August because of the heat.
If it is 1200 mile and your jeep gets 20 mile to the gallon you will need 60 gallon to get you there, and at 3.00 a gallon it will cost you 180 one way ,360 round trip…….this is for example…..find out how many mile it really is and how many mile you get to the gallon and that will give you a good idea.
