Aside from cruising, you must also visit art museums and enjoy a horse-pulled carriage ride, which will bring you to different romantic destinations in the city. For a spectacular dining experience, visit The Signature Room, which is located in the 95th floor of the John Hancock Building, for a bird’s eye view of magnificent Chicago landscape. Other restaurants and bars that couples should try while in Chicago are Spiagga, an Italian restaurant, Champagne/ Pop Jazz Club, for a sparkling night of music and dancing, and Geja’s, a petit cafe situated in Lincoln Park where you and your loved one can snuggle while enjoying a fondue fair.
Northern Region
One of the most romantic towns in Illinois, if not the whole country, is Galena. The minute you step on Galena, you will already feel romance in the air. With both luxurious and cozy accommodations and different romantic activities to participate in, you and your partner will certainly have utmost relaxation and unforgettable experience in Galena.
The first thing that should be in your itinerary when you visit Galena is the wineries, where you and your beloved could enjoy wine tasting. Other places that you must visit are the Galena River Trail and the Apple River Canyon State Park, where you can go hiking and bird watching. Horseback riding and a cruise on the Mississippi River are also activities you must not forget to try while in Galena.

Couples who are not only interested in cuddling, but also in historical places will surely have the time of their lives in the western area of Illinois. I'd recommend the Turtle Creek Casino and Hotel, near Traverse City, MI. (shameless plug for the place where I work) This will be a good place to stay while you explore northwestern lower Michigan.
Or, you could try Mackinac Island, MI. Have you ever seen that movie "Somewhere In Time" with Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour? It was filmed there.
Myrtle Beach in SC is a nice choice. Yes parts of it are very touristy but it's not all like that.
A lot of hotels are less than $50 a night!
whoa!
Couples Swept Away, Negril, Jamaica
Couples only.
All inclusive resort.
Nice private beach.
Nice night life. Something different every night.
Harbor cruise included.
Many other tours availible at extra cost. But there is plenty do do if you decide to spend the whole vacation on the resort.
We spent our 25th anniversary there.
Petit St. Vincent is a 113 acre private island in the Caribbean. This is a beach resort that is perfect for couples who want to spend their vacation time alone with each other.
You will be staying in private cottages that are strategically positioned on the beach or cliffside so that you get maximum enjoyment of the incredible scenery around you. There are no televisions or telephones but there is plenty of privacy, luxury service and beautiful beach surroundings.
I wonder where you're coming from.
If you're from U.K., you can consider Newmont Travel as my 'mother-in-law' uses:
http://www.newmont.co.uk/
Or Opodo that one of my few friends there used recently:

If you're from the U.S., I recommend Apple Vacations and here's a link direct to British Virgin vacations with them:

If from Canada, I recommend RedTag and a few others such as FareStore, Target Vacations and FlightNetwork:

Hope this helps.
Tuscany, Italy

Check out Churchill Manitoba – you can see the northern lights, polar bears, and do whale watching. The accomodation can be sparse, but there are a few nice places. Take a look at the Lazy Bear Lodge. Its kind of a log cabin type hotel, with a fun restaurant, and they organize tours etc..
I wish I could tell you the best Private beach in the world
but it is Private
however Koh Samui in Thailand may fit the bill
Good Luck!
