What is the best place to download music that is cheap and doesn't give computers viruses?I'm looking for a place that is cheaper than iTunes but the same quality of music. And I don't want it screwing up my computer with viruses. I have bought about 200 songs from iTunes and it's just getting too expensive and my also buys from iTunes and he would like to find a different place also. you might have copied the shortcut of the song instead of the real file, and if you deleted that file, it would no longer be possible to click on it, because it wouldn't exist.
another issue could be that you have to convert the mp3 files into mp4 files before they will be able to be played in itunes (since itunes only plays mp4)
delete all they songs and put them back in, it does it to me all the time

Depends where you are downloading from. If say the internet from your web broswer, you may just want to right click on the link for the song and select save as and choose a download location.
Temporary Internet Files folder for Internet Explorer is in a hidden folder called Local Settings under your profile. You should be able to locate it there, but if you rarely delete them, it is probably cluttered.
I'd say either use the search function off of the start menu and include hidden files and folders, or redownload and select save as when right-clicking it.
