A holiday to the Caribbean offers you the chance to visit some of the most spectacular beaches in the world. Virtually every island of the Caribbean will have beaches that amaze; with crystal clear blue seas, sugar white sand & palm trees.
To help you choose where to go and more importantly what beach to choose, we have compiled a list of the top 10 beaches in the Caribbean.
1/ Palm Beach (Aruba) – Idyllic beach setting with superb white sand.
2/ Grand Anse Beach (Grenada) – 3km beach with sugar-white sand, lots of space & shallow waters.
3/ Johnson’s Point (Antigua) – Made up of secluded coves; these white soft sand beaches are a must for snorkeling & swimming
4/ Pink Sand Beach ( Bahamas) – One of the world’s most photographed beaches, often voted world’s best by travel publications. 5km’s of salmon pink coloured sand, due to red plankton that has mixed with the fine white sand.
5/ Crane Beach (Barbados) – Often voted as Barbados’ most beautiful beach. Imposing cliffs, a natural coral reef and soft white sands make for a perfect beach.
6/ Negril Beach (Jamaica) – Laid back atmosphere and Jamaica’s prettiest beach. A lot quieter than Seven Mile beach.
7/ Englishman’s Bay (Tobago) – A sheltered beach with fine white sand, crystal waters & surrounded by a palm jungle.
8/ Grace Bay (Turks & Caicos) – Part of a national marine park, this beach has fine white sand, calm turquoise waters and is protected by a barrier reef.
9/ Trunk Bay (US Virgin Islands) – A beautiful beach with crystal clear waters, considered one of the best places for snorkeling in the Caribbean.
10/ Shoal Bay (Anguilla) – Put Angullia on the tourism map; sugar-white sand, crystal clear blue waters & coral reefs.

Cheap ways to travel between Caribbean Islands? My boyfriend and I planning to island hop between the Caribbean Islands, starting at Puerto Rico, working our way South, getting back to the center and then heading North again. I have heard of mail boats and some ferries, but, more specifically what is the best (and cheapest) way to get from island to island?

NIGGA FUCK YOU…. you jussa talk bout dick straight ya fucking antiman scunt… fuck you yank
I've lived on St Thomas 35 years………think I'll stay!
The ferries are the cheapest, but you won't get to all the islands that way. To see them all you'll eventually have to take local planes. Frequently though, the price of airfare goes down as more people book the flights.

It depends where you are going in the Caribbean. If you are a U.S. Citizen traveling to and returning directly from a U.S. territory, you are not considered to have left the U.S. territory and do not need to present a passport.
U.S. territories include:
*American Samoa
*Guam
*Northern Mariana Islands
*Puerto Rico
*Swains Island
*U.S. Virgin Islands
Otherwise, you do need a passport.
A passport is one of the best forms of ID you can have. If you don't have one, you may eventually need one and they take a few weeks to get. You may want to start the process now. You can get the applications on line at: http://travel.state.gov/passport/get/first/first_832.html .

At this time there is no reason for concern with regards to travel in Jamaica. I have posted some websites that you can keep looking at prior to the trip and just make sure there are no travel restrictions. I honestly don't foresee any reason why you will not be able to travel to Jamaica Mon. Enjoy your honey moon lucky!
You would be happy to know that the governments in that region are planning extensively (as everywhere else) for proper precautions on prevention and containment if it should hit home. The Caribbean Epidemiology Centre – CAREC, called on Caribbean countries to begin immediate mobilization of key personnel to ensure that the region is ready to deal with possible cases of the flu.
In your house or mine> Yes, I hope so. On the street, probably no. What do you have in mind??
i have a question, is it legal for women to be topless here? thank you in advance
My favorites are St Bart's and St Martain. Bermuda is also very beautiful, although it is not considered a Caribbean island, but it's too nice not to mention and it's sort of in the area. I've been to most of the islands in the Caribbean (via cruise ships) and these are the ones I would love to return back to and spend more time. Hope this helps!
i was born there =)
(but raised in guyana…tht explains my name)
The only airlines that offer great connections throughout the Caribbean are:
* American Airlines/American Eagle (from San Juan): Provides service to every major island in the region with the exception of Cuba, Haiti, Jamaica, Turks & Caicos, the Bahamas and the Cayman Islands.
*LIAT (from Antigua): Reliable service to most of the Lesser Antilles and Puerto Rico.
*Air Jamaica (from Kingston and Montego Bay): Service to Cuba, the Cayman Islands, the Bahamas, Grenada, Curacao and St. Lucia.
Two great countries….though I know Antigua better. Thanks for writing! Watch our other TVPs

I've only been to quite a few but Barbados tops it and it's one that has me keep coming back to and I have even temporarily lived there.
So I highly recommend Barbados since there is a lot to do, even if it just means laze on the beach.
My personal experience was partying in St. Lawrence Gap where there are not only hotels but bars/restaurants, convenience store, Internet place as well as various of clubs, too. I've seen nightlife among Bay Street in The City. There's also Oistins, known as a fishing town, holding every Friday and Saturday where locals and tourists gather for it famous dishes, dancing, just to have a good time.
Bridgetown especially any Cave Shepherd locations (not just only one in the capital but outside as well) are known for duty-free shopping and there are some historic sites to see.
You can travel on mini buses, route taxes or big blue buses for only $1.50 Barbadian.
Hope this helps.
Puerto Rico is gorgeous. i have family there and the beaches are amazing ♥
