Can using topical hair products/skin cosmetics contribute to causing cancer?I don't see how topicals are as dangerous as foods that are ingested, and even the ingested items take large doses to do any significant harm.
So then why is everyone hopping on the natural/organic bandwagon for hair products and cosmetics?
Or can the stuff seep through your scalp/skin, and if you use it long term contribute to causing cancer?
Exactly how dangerous Are hair products and cosmetics?
Do they pose a greater or lesser threat than lets say foods that are ingested, and fumes that are breathed in such as smoking?

They lose their hair, and they probably do have some kind of toupee or hair transplant. Two examples that I know of (because they openly admit it): David Letterman (Toupee), and Richard Simmons (hair transplant).
Sometimes they just shave their head completely or near-completely bald (Bruce Willis, Paul Sheaffer, Andre Agassi).
I don't think hair loss in and of itself if curable, but it is treatable. You can have those procedures done to take hair from somewhere else on your body and onto your head. But you know, being bald can be beautiful too. ^_^

I would start by advertising on craigslist (free), and you maybe want to consider looking up some of the cancer treatment centers in your area, and talking to some of the doctors. Some may let you advertise, or leave flyers (cheap!) in their offices, as many of their patients may not even know where to turn to purchase good wigs.
