Located on West Broadway in Soho, Te Casan’s sprawling, three-floor shoe haven is so much more than a regular shoe store; it’s a shrine to excess and luxury and we here at City Chick absolutely love that! The 5,500-square-foot, chandelier-hung, glass-staircased  store is filled with scent machines that sweeten the air, custom-made fitting booths and even has an in house maid (dressed in classic maid attire, of course) that keep the store in pristine condition, all while New York’s most fashionable women coos and purrs over their limited-edition collections. The shoe’s are designed by seven young and talented designers, all of whom worked for some of the biggest names in fashion such as Alexander McQueen, Versace, Dries van Noten, and Vivienne Westwood. These designers are:

Niki Robinson

Gaetano Perrone

Fay Baldock

Natalie Portman (yes, the actress and her Vegan line is fabulous!)

Zoe Lee

Manuela Filipovic

Each of the designer’s collection ( no more than 100 of each style will ever be made, which means once they’re sold out,  that’s it!) is displayed near their portrait with its limited edition number discreetly imprinted on the sole. Here you can find everything from knee-high boots to deliciously crystal encrusted strappy heels and each designer is supposed to come up with one new style every week—so there is always something new.

Shoe prices are around $200 plus.
