Oh Cesar.. you make me want to wear jacquards…

…[not] many designers have the talent to manipulate (a somewhat volume-adding) texture into a polished confident look that CESAR GALINDO does so well. … Using tonal metallics as his (neutrals) in silver and gold jacquard patterns in geometrics, florals and even ikats  were complimented with high-voltage colors of fuschia , purple and emerald…

..a dress-up tailored party of pretty girls came out DEX(ed) in faux lashes and rosy lips, accented in hats and sassy colored tights…

Clean shapes in cropped jackets and (slightly) high-waisted pants with flirty pockets gave [enough] edge in sublte glimmering sexy…

we can see [CESAR] understands the figure, and loves « shaping » a woman, using curved seams to flatter in all the right places.  In an intimate setting of his fall ‘09 show,  we could see up close, and the collective front-row comments were…‘WOW…great workmanship’…

…[no granny jacquards] here…
